Noah:is a super seven year old that loves the Flash and many other superheros. Noah is a superhero in his own way as he fought off the villian that is his heart condition and Heterotaxy Syndrome.
Natalie: is an extraordinary eleven year old with a passion for sports and though she has a rare form of Cerebral Palsy that keeps her in a wheelchair she doesn’t let that stop her from participating in swimming, basketball and football (she especially loves the New England Patriots and Tom Brady).
Madison: is a huge Hamilton fan and just like Hamilton advocated for causes he believed in Madison advocates for all those who have Cystic Fibrosis like her. Though she spends at least two months in the hospital a year she doesn’t let that keep her from participating in the things she loves.
Logan: is a fiercely determined little boy that doesn’t let anything get him down including his Cystic Fibrosis. He loves a good challenge and though his CF is a challenge in itself he is always up to complete a puzzle or play a little game of basketball.
Kennedy: is a cute nine year old ready to take on the world. She has a positive attitude that doesn’t let anything get in her way including her kidney disease. She has a passion for reading and giving back and has collected over 450 books for kids at Cardinal Glennon.
Brayden: this seemingly shy seven year old has a positive “can do” attitude that captures the attention of all he encounters. Brayden’s philosophy is to celebrate life everyday, this motto came about after his miraculous recovery after receiving a bone marrow transplant to treat his Acute Myeloid Leukemia.
Evie: this sweet and sassy soon to be six year old was diagnosed with Spina Bifida before she was even born, and though this disorder causes some physical limitations this determined little diva won’t let anything get her down. Evie has surpassed expectations and walks with little assistance she even is in a dance class!
Peyton Wuennenberg: was born to stand out and she doesn’t let her Lymphoblastic Leukemia keep her from accomplishing just that. She is a talented performer and enjoys singing, dancing and acting. She even has her own group called Peyton’s Posse which she performs with!
Dessalyn: this upbeat and driven fashionista doesn’t let her Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia keep her from designing. With a passion for fashion Dessalyn is determined to make the world a more beautiful place.
Michael: is a constantly on the go kind of guy who is passionate about video games, giving back, puzzles, pokemon and so much more. Even though Michael has Autism Spectrum Disorder he doesn’t let that keep him from accomplishing amazing things.
Roxie: is the sister to Walker as well as a girl of many talents. Whether she is playing with her siblings, singing, dancing, playing soccer or doing arts and crafts. If you were to watch this carefree girl you would never know that she had battled Neuroblastoma as a three year old.
Walker: is the rambunctious, talkative brother to Roxie. This fireball loves being outside and enough positive attitude to make anyone smile. Walker also happened to have Coarctation of the Aorta as a newborn, after a heart surgery shortly after birth, Walker is able to live a fairly healthy and very happy life.
Camryn: is a bubbly girl with personality to spare. Though she was diagnosed with Hydrocephalus, heart defects and lacks a right radius and completely developed right ulna, this girl won’t let anything stop her. Doctors once thought she may never walk, talk or see; Camryn does all of that and more and will continue to amaze all she encounters.
Sean: is one of the most resilient troopers you will ever meet. He is so resilient that not even his Sickle Cell Anemia can keep him from the things he loves, like sports.
John: is an amazing young man with a multitude of talents incuding computer graphic and software design. This technologically savy guy is a proud member of the “Zipper Club” due to his many Heart defects that caused him to undergo many surgeries.
Audrey: is an incredible young lady who never let her heart defects get in the way of becoming an intelligent and passionate person. She is now thriving as a college student!
Bryson: is a bright young boy who stops at nothing to achieve his goals. Though he has a lung condition, and hearing problem he still remains busy and active young man.
Josh: is a positively optimistic young man who has faced his share of struggles including a kidney transplant and stroke early on in his life.
Sami: is a thriving college-aged young woman, and though she has struggled with diabetes, Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and Perthes’ Disease, she does all the things a normal young adult would.
Mackenzie: this go-getter long had the dream of becoming a ballerina and though she was diagnosed with Leggs-Calves-Perethes Disease and was wheelchair bound for a short period of her life she is now able to dance, and though she may not be a ballerina that is enough for her.
Greta:is a girl that is always on the go, and though for a portion of time she had to slow down due to her Ewing’s Sarcoma, she hasn’t stopped moving since. She is an amazing student with a wonderful sense of humor and there is no doubt she will accomplish amazing things in the near future.
Zach: is a SLU Student and has been involved in SLUDM the past two years, though he has actually been involved in Dance Marathons for many other years due to his Rhabdomyosarcoma, cancer of the soft tissue, and his thyroid cancer.
Ethan: is also a proud Billiken at SLU studying finance, and is brother Audrey. Ethan was an active teenager taking on the world of high school when he began showing some odd symptoms and went to the hospital where he was diagnosed with Leukemia. Ethan continues to progress through life with an amazing attitude and positive energy.
Peyton Womack: was a healthy baby boy when he began having seizures, he had a successful surgery that stopped his seizures from progressing but caused weaknesses on his right side. Despite this minor limitation Peyton participates in sports and continues to show his love for life everyday.
